The
Western way of life is in Faye and Gary's
blood as illustrated by their wedding
photo.

Astraddle A Saddle, Inc.
was started in 1980 by Faye and Gary Bramwell. Gary
is a native of Pagosa Springs whose family on both
sides have resided here for four generations. He
was following his father, Floyd, since he was seven
years old taking Trail Rides and Outfitting for Big
Game Hunts. He also has worked as a Wrangler and
has had horses in several Westerns including, "The
Cowboys" with John Wayne, "Running Wild", "Bite the
Bullet", "Two Against the Wind", "Silverado",
"Longarm", "Desperado II", "Independence" and a
National Geographic Special on Mustang Horses.
Faye holds a B.S. in Home
Economics and a MA in Educational Psychology from
the University of Nebraska. She does all the
cooking for the Barbeques and Cabin Dinners.

Faye and Gary's
son, Forest, who is a five time National Finals Rodeo
Qualifier in Bareback Riding, helps on his off season
with hunting camps, team driving and horse shoeing. |

Their daughter,
Cortney, no longer works for the business as she has
taken employment in Alaska.

From the beginning, Astraddle A Saddle
has been a family operation. We have been associated with the
Wyndham Resort (Fairfield) site providing horse related activities
for their guests since 1980.
Our family takes great
pride in letting our experience show you the best
of western hospitality.
